Cerakote Ceramic Clears are the strongest clear coats on the market, and Cerakote High Gloss Ceramic Clear MC-156 is a lower viscosity version of their MC-160 that can be applied at lower film thicknesses (.25 mil) where tolerance is critical. As a high-gloss, air-cured, ceramic clear coating, MC-156 leads the industry in hardness, chemical resistance, wear performance, and UV stability, and can be used as a top coat over several materials such as metals, paints, composites, plastics, and PVD.

The coating offers color stability up to 300°F and is easy to apply, VOC-compliant, and can be sprayed in all 50 states. It dries tack-free in 30-45 minutes and fully cures after 24 hours, making it ideal for outdoor applications. The 100% inorganic formulation is completely UV stable and will not yellow or haze after full cure.

It is important to note that this product does not require a catalyst and that a 325 Mesh Strainer (SE-277) is required. Additionally, the product should not be stored in direct sunlight.
